First Meeting of the 2025 JMOC Scheduled
The Vice-President of Competitive Swimming announces the holding of the first meeting of the Joint Meet Organizing Committee (JMOC) on July 17th, ahead of the annual Summer Swim Meet.
Adopted by the General Assembly in 2024, the JMOC is a body composed of representatives from several NAA member pools, and is responsible for supporting hosting pools in the organization of the major season meets: Summer Swim Meet, Time Trials and the Championship ‘Big’ Meet. Member pools must contribute to major meet organizing every two years.
On July 17th, the JMOC plans to discuss final preparations and scheduling for Summer Swim Meet, recruitment strategies for volunteers and officials, the standardization of officiating procedures, as well as the inclusion of select initiatives by the NAA.
Members wishing to get involved in the Committee are encouraged to reach out to their NAA pool for additional information.
Please send and questions and comments relating to this communiqué to the Vice-President of Competitive Swimming.
