Regular Season Format
If your team is on bye week coaches can coordinate a scrimmage between the two teams. However this game would not count towards the standings.
In case of a tie in the overall standings, the tie breaker will be total goal differential on the season (+/-), if the event of a second tie breaker it will be goal differential vs. the (next) highest seed.
All u12 games will be played first followed by all u14 games then all u16 games
Warm up for u12 will begin at 5:30pm and will last 15 minutes. The first game (u12) will begin at 5:45pm.
u12 will be played 4 on 4 + Goalies. 5 minute (running time) quarters
u14 & u16 will be played 5 on 5 + Goalies. 6 minute (running time) quarters
The game will result in a draw if the score is tied at the end of regulation.
Playoff Format
Teams will play each other based on their seedings.
9th Place Match (#5 seed vs. #5 seed will be best of 3).
All u12 games will be played first followed by all u14 games then all u16 games.
Teams will not be eliminated after a loss. Instead, teams will continue to play for their overall placement.
Each team will nominate 5 shooters (excluding goalies) to partake in a best of 5 shootout in the event of a draw, at the end of regulation.
